Artist’s statement: Tigers are a vanishing species and as such they are veterans in the war against encroachment on their territories, hunting for their body parts, and the battle against changing climates. This inspired me to use battle surplus fabric, worn tarp, and netting to express both the toughness of their battle and their fragility.
