I cannot imagine a world without elephants and rhinos and giraffes and the far too many disappearing species. Like us, they are hit very hard by climate change, greed, and indifference impacting their ever-shrinking worlds.

Over the years I’ve explored many ways to express the fragility, appeal, and toughness of these disappearing animals. The pieces in the Vanishing series focus on the animals’ emotions and attitudes in their plight.
